Installation Advice
Porcelain paving should be installed on a correctly prepared base using a full wet mortar bed. A suitable priming slurry should be applied to the underside of each porcelain paving slab immediately before laying to help achieve a reliable bond.
Pavestone recommends an ideal joint width of approximately 5mm. A suitable flexible porcelain jointing grout should be used, taking care not to allow grout residue to dry on the surface of the slabs.
Porcelain is manufactured in batches and slight colour and texture variation can occur between batches. Mix slabs from the packs being installed as work progresses to distribute any variation evenly across the finished patio.
