Job Title: Outbound Sales Team Member
Location: Peterborough
Salary: Competitive
Hours: Full-time – Monday-Friday 7:00-17:00 – Every other Saturday 7:30-12:00
About the role
We are looking for a proactive and results driven Sales Team Member to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, meeting targets and proactively seeking new business opportunities within the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and engage with new customers
- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Accurately update customer records and sales activity
- Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products
- Represent the company professionally at all times
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience within the construction industry (Preferred but not essential)
- Previous experience in a customer facing role (Preferred but not essential)

Job Title: Yard Operative / Driver
Location: Peterborough/Huntingdon

About Us
We are a busy and well-established builders’ merchant supplying a wide range of building materials to trade and retail customers. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking Yard Operative / Driver to join our team.
Role Overview This is a varied, hands-on role combining yard duties with delivery driving. You will play a key part in ensuring our customers receive excellent service both in the yard and on-site.
Key Responsibilities
- Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
- Picking and preparing customer orders accurately
- Serving customers in the yard in a friendly and professional manner
- Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment
- Carrying out local deliveries to customers (multi-drop)
- Vehicle checks and basic maintenance
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence (Category B required; Category C/HIAB desirable)
- Previous experience in a builders’ merchant or similar environment preferred
- Good knowledge of building materials is an advantage
- Forklift licence (preferred but not essential – training can be provided)
- Strong work ethic and a team-player attitude
- Good customer service skills
