    Features of Tuffjoint Utility 'Brush-In Grout' Jointing Mortar:



    • Size : 12kg

    • Coverage up to 31m2 (4mm Joint 1200x600x20mm Porcelain Paving)

    • Does not contain resin or polymers.

    • Hard wearing, no mixing required.

    • A hose with a fine mist spray or hand sprayer should be used to wet the mortar once brushed into the joints.

    • Don't install when raining

    • tuffjoint Utility can be used on damp paving but is not advisable as it will clump up and will require the joints to be topped up once the misted-on water pushes the clumps down into the joints.

    • Dry paving allows the mortar to flow easier and allows unused tuffjoint Utility to be returned to the tub for future use.


    tuffjoint Utility has been produced and tested for easy use and for high-quality, hard-wearing jointing with no mixing required.



    1. Sweep in the dry mortar using a squeegee and/or a broom/brush.

    2. When joints are full, remove dry excess tuffjoint Utility from the paving.

    3. Apply water using a hose, and set on a fine mist spray until water pools on the surface.

    4. Use a Washboy or Washboy Pro to clean the paving units.


    If tuffjoint Utility is swept in dry, any excess can be returned to the tub and used at a later date, resulting in minimal wastage.
