How to Mix Rugby General Purpose Ready Mixed Mortar:

Rugby General Purpose Mortar is supplied as a pre-mixed dry mortar, so there is no need to add additional sand or cement.

1. Place the required quantity of dry mortar into a clean mixing container or mixer.


2. Add clean water gradually while mixing.


3. Continue mixing until an even, workable mortar consistency is achieved.


4. Avoid adding excessive water, as this can affect the performance and consistency of the finished mortar.

Important: This product is a just-add-water mortar. Do not add additional cement or sand unless specifically required by a project specification.

Coverage Guide

• Approximately one bag can produce enough mortar to lay around 25 standard house bricks.


• Approximately 1.25m² at 10mm thickness when used for rendering.
