The Roughneck Long-Handled Sharp-Edge Drainage Shovel 1460mm is a heavy-duty trenching and groundwork shovel designed for digging deep, narrow holes and trenches.
The sharpened carbon steel blade helps cut into compacted soil, clay and root-filled ground more efficiently, making it ideal for drainage work, pipe laying, cable channels, irrigation and post-hole digging.
The long 1460mm tubular fibreglass handle provides increased leverage and power while allowing a more upright working position during digging. This makes it particularly useful for deeper trenches and demanding groundwork applications.
The heavy-duty blade is heat treated and finished with a corrosion-resistant tumble lacquer, while Roughneck's reinforced Power Ring connection strengthens the blade-to-handle joint. Integrated foot treads allow additional pressure to be applied with reduced risk of slipping.
